From my 80s journal:
Tuesday, July 9'th 1985
Me & Mike rode the tandem out to Pizza Hut & when we got there our bikes were sitting behind Mc Donalds. It was pretty wierd. I am so sick of my cousin Rocki staying here. She has been here for 8 weeks, but she is going home in a week.
- I was 14 years old.
- Mike is Mike Engle.
- Mine and Mike's bikes had been stolen out of my front yard.
- I think my problem with Rocki was that I was jealous. She had always been my buddy, but that summer she was my sister's buddy.

Funny. When I read the post preceeding this one that you wrote it was one of your best summers of all time I thought to myself "man, I wish I would have been there that summer." Then to come to find out, I was. I guess it was my loss not hanging out with you. By that time I was growing up way to fast, an 18 year old girl was much more my speed.
